This course provides guidance on how to use our VE Compliance application to assess for Part L compliance in accordance with SBEMie. We take you step by step through editing and assigning constructions to your VE geometry, then adding renewables and compliant systems and assigning them to the whole model or on a space by space basis as needed.
These will work together to inform the EPC, CPC and RER calculations for compliance according to SBEMie and the energy rating.
You can test your knowledge by completing the integrated quizzes, and on successful completion receive an IES distance learning certificate.
