In this online training course, we’ll show you how to use our MacroFlo application to create a zonal airflow model to calculate bulk air movement in and through the building, driven by wind and buoyancy induced pressures.
Follow along with the instructor as we take you step by step through analysing natural ventilation, by simulating the flow of air through openings in the building envelope. This lets us assess and compare different ventilation strategies.
You will learn how to create and assign different opening types, then apply these to the dynamic simulation when it is run in ApacheSim, to impact on load results. And consider ways in which these simulation results can be viewed in VistaPro for further analysis.
You can also test your knowledge by completing the integrated quizzes, and on successful completion receive an IES distance learning certificate.
This course is certified for 1 CPD hour. Trainees can contact IES Training on completion of this course to receive their CPD Certificate.
